As an ex-cisco employee I believe I have the expertise to complete the project. I also have enough relations and people to check in case of need. Placing the bit, I assume that there is a test system available as well as the phone itself would be sent to me. Usually such projects take more calendar time, but not full days, while researching. I would assume the task is doable in less than 40 hours, but spread in 2 or 3 weeks as calendar time.
