I need to create/install an icon on my windows 7 toolbar that staff can click it and it takes them to a certain web site. My requirements are as follow: 1. The app must be in msi format. I need to deploy it through AD group policy 2. Ability to edit the distination address 3. Ability to add a picture icon and title or balloon notes.

i am not a developer but i am a system admin i have ready made tool i will tell you how to use it and how to deploy it remotely and configure it remotely using group policy but it will list all websites under one menu. at system tray when you click it it will display a menu with all websites it will be better for not overload system tray space

Hi, I am a .NET developer based in Australia. I can write you a VB.NET application that contains an icon that resides in the System tray as per your image. The icon can be of your choosing. A single (or double) click can open the URL of your choice using either a specific browser, or the systems default browser. The website URL can be stored in the registry so you can easily deploy changes if required. Balloon notes/tool tips are possible. And i will supply the installation package as an msi file.
