I want to develop a camera based system which can be used as a VISION SYSTEM for detecting certain defects,Marks or rings on an Object. The camera can be any good quality one which can be connected to a PC/SBC etc. The object will be manually placed in front of the camera and on pressing a button it should take photos of the object and detect the presence of any marks/dents or rings. These marks will be of a specific type and color. Also the rings will always be on the same place. Dents will be in a specific area of the object. Once complete the PC should display the results on the [login to view URL] this I need a GUI based software using visual studio to log the data and also for displaying the results.
