We’re looking to copy and convert our high resolution jpegs (.jpg) from a DPI of 300 to 150 from one folder to another. (Although the application should allow us to run multiple instances concurrently. The script should constantly watch source folders for any new images that have been dropped into it. If a file is new it should copy and convert the image from 300dpi to 150dpi (leaving all other attributes as is) to a set destination folder. If a file has been overwritten then the script should convert this file and overwrite the previously copied and converted file. The script should log what new files have been converted or what files have been updated into sql server Server that will be hosting the images are OSX Server Mavericks (script should be compatible with Yosemite Server). We should be able to run multiple instances of this script so we can convert multiple folders Native OSX code should be used.

Hi there, I have lots of experience in this field and feel confident that I can achieve all aspects of your project. Can you please answer a couple of questions: Do you intend the resolution change to be completed using Photoshop? as you want to run multiple instances of the script using Photoshop would restrict you to only processing one image at a time. My suggestions would be to use a command line binary such as Imagemagick to complete the task as it will allow for multiple processes. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Nik

I'm expert in desktop automation with HUNDREDS of completed projects that's why I'm sure you'll be impressed with my work. I can create simple Mac OS program (command line tool) which will process image file and make changes you want (including logging etc). So all you'll need is to create Automator action for the folder(s) you want (I'll show you how to do it). I can complete it in less than four days and I can offer you best price here. Thanks. Roman
