We have a working Coova Chilli based custom Wifi Access Point running on a Banana Pi (similar to Raspberry Pi) with Bananian OS (Debian based). Authentication is done using freeRadius (managed by RadiusDesk utility) and the Open Source Coova Chilli is doing the captive portal. All is working fine except that sites with https:// are not accessible and I do not have sufficient networking understanding to ensure that this works. I need some help configuring the machine (and proxy server, if necessary) to allow users to access HTTPS sites securely via our Access Point.
