I have several raspberry pi's that run Dakboard: [login to view URL] I'd like to configure the Pi's to turn the connected TVs on an off on a schedule. Ideally using HDMI-CEC controls. I will need to be able to turn them on/off with schedules for every weekday & every weekend. I'm somewhat familiar with command line and can get to a command line on the Pi. What I need is help finding the software or scripts that will do this and help installing them onto the Pi. This should be a pretty simple task, i'm expecting this to be in the $100 range

I'm an experienced developer with a keen interest in the Raspberry Pi. I've worked on many Pi related projects using various input/output boards. I have previously used hdmi-cec to control my Samsung TV via hdmi. I would be very interested in working with you on your Pi Dakboard project.

Hi, Did you try to turn on/off the TV from your Pi ? Because not all TV models can be turned on/off with these HDMI commands. Thanks.

I also have a raspberry pi set up with my tv. Mine runs Kodi. I also have a script running who powers my tv at the same time every day in time for me to watch the news and also it switches it off once the news are over. In addition to this, I am a Computer Science student, so I am really comfortable with raspberry's.
