CRE Loaded Short Product Description on Product Listings

We are using CRE Loaded6 v6.2 B2B White Label[11] for our shopping cart. I want a short product description to display in the product listings for each product, I've set the 'Display product description' to 99 (enabled) and set the 'Length of Truncated Product Description' to 350 characters in the back end but this still does not show the short product descriptions in the product listings (full product descriptions are showing fine when you click on the actual products by the way). I am looking for someone to fix this for me, a feature I'm fairly sure used to work! Thanks :-)
