Issue with WPML - language switcher does not select the right page

I've an issue with wordpress multilingual plugin. The language switcher that is present in the top menu is not able to select the right page when switching language. For instance changing language from [login to view URL], the page [login to view URL] is displayed instead of [login to view URL]
