Add and/or fix a ffmpeg function to website Before you read on, please note that I am looking for someone who is experienced with ffmpeg. If you haven't worked with ffmpeg before, then please don't apply for this job. Thank you. I have a website on which short input videos are assembled into one long output video using ffmpeg. Some people using iOS 12 are reporting playback problems with the output video, probably caused by the stitches between the short input videos. This may be due to the ffmpeg version being used is from 2016. I need a solution, consisting of multiple steps: 1) The quick, simple temporary solution: you install the newest ffmpeg on my server and create a php script that will run each existing output video through this new script, to get rid of the stitches. The script will run based on a MySQL table to which columns can be added if neccessary. I will provide with all details for this, like database access and details, video source folder, etc. Output videos should have the same characteristics as the input videos: video resolution, framerate, bitrate, etc. 2) once the above is working fine, and since it's not an optimal solution, you can try replacing the old ffmpeg bin by the new one, and if neccessary fix or add some ffmpeg commands in my old existing scripts, so that these scripts will work with the newest ffmpeg version and hopefully create output videos suitable for iOS 12 Payment for step 1 will be $50 maximum, assuming it's a simple task: input video -> ffmpeg -> output video Payment for step 2 will be $100 maximum, assuming it will be a bit more work and involve studying of the existing scripts. If you do a bid higher than $50, I assume it is for both tasks, not just for the first one. I also assume that you read this full description before you make your bidding and that we don't get into a conflict later on just because you didn't read this, or didn't understand it. When we start discussing this project we will focus on option 1 because that is the easiest and fastest to achieve and I need this solution urgently. I will not discuss option 2 before you've completed option 1. I will not give website access during the discussion because there is nothing special or complicated about the website: linux / apache / video folder / MySQL database. Once you confirm you're able to provide with option 1 I will create a milestone and give you full access to my site, and server if neccessary. Thanks and happy bidding
