This is for the project of an Anti-Cheat client for a new gaming league (relatively small), for the popular game Counter-Strike Source. Gui client application that a user loads on their system and it simply runs with no user interaction. The client application should pull a listing of all the running files on the users system including their full paths (i.e c:\windows32\[login to view URL]). Then on random intervals the client should scan the internal contents of each file running for some determined strings, if a string is detected in a file it will send a message to the serverm. The scanner should also be able to do CRC32/MD5 etc hash checks on files. The client should also be able to detect if a user is loading illegal textures into the game (will provide info) The client should also have all of its definitions loaded from an remote source. User starts the client it downloads a file from lets say [login to view URL] Inside the file are encrypted definitions, then will be decrypted by the client. Those definitions are loaded into the client (array, list etc), this allows for auto-updating of the definitions often. Server application for linux & windows based systems. Will tie into Counter-Strike Source's server and verify that each person connecting to the game server has the client running. If they don't have the client open it kicks them from the server. The server should also at random intervals check to make sure the client is still loaded on the users machine. If a cheat is detected on the clients end, the client will send an encrypted message to the server application stating that a detection has been found. If a detection is found the server would send communication to a master server (that's already configured and running) and user was found to be cheating. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Needs to support Windows98-Windows XP. However may settle for just Windows 2000-Windows XP support. Server variant should run on linux based kernels and windows 2000/2003 server. Support for FreeBSD also a bonus. Must be written in C/C++ I will provide the cheat definitions and logistic advice (I'm a programmer as well just not with much time!)
