Coupon Website

The website will allow businesses to enter a coupon special. Coupon specials are displayed on the homepage by date. Coupons can be viewed by date. Coupons can be printed. Coupon information is available via RSS feed as well. ## Deliverables **UPDATE:** I will be requiring Restaurants to register so that they login prior to posting a coupon. We will collect this information in registration: * First Name * Last Name * Email Address (will be username) * Password * Repeat Password (make sure they match) * Restaurant Name (Text Field w/ char limit) * Restaurant Address 1 (Text Field w/ char limit) * Restaurant Address 2 (Text Field w/ char limit) * Restaurant Phone (3 Text Fields w/ char limits of 3/3/4 for phone areacode/prefix/last 4 digits) * Restaurant Website Address * Type of Cuisine (dropdown) This means we need a registration email to be emailed upon registration and password retrieval on the login screen. I am also attaching a "Coupon Style" example. This example is close to what I want, but it is just an example. see the fields below for accurate reflection of what will be displayed on a coupon. **Basic Work flow -** Homepage: * Users can view coupons for a specific date * Users can change date with calendar or arrows next to the date displayed (i.e. <- January 15, 2009 -> ) * Default view is coupons scheduled for that day * Coupons are displayed in a coupon style * Coupons are displayed in random order. Order changes on refresh. * Coupons contain * Coupon Title * Restaurant Name * Type of Cuisine * Restaurant Address (2 lines) * Restaurant Phone * Restaurant Website Address * Date(s) valid * Print icon (scriptaculous/prototype/javascript style popup with coupon and print button) when the print button is clicked the browser print dialogue begins and the pop-up disappears) * Subscribe via RSS (RSS feed contains all Business Name: Coupon Title's for that day) About Page Tab: Text info only Restaurant guide: Link to third party site target="_blank" Post Special Tab: Directs to Login page where users can login or register (see above) Once logged in the user can post their specials (coupons) that will be shown on the homepage for the appropriate date * Fields * Coupon Title (Text Field w/ char limit) * Date Range - Start date and end date of coupon. The coupon will display on the homepage every day selected in the date range * Person First Name (Text Field) * Person Last Name (Text Field) * Type of Cuisine (dropdown) Navigation: Tabs Footer: Basic information Artwork: Logo and artwork complete and will be provided Design: Layout is complete with wireframe. CSS: Developer will provide a complete external stylesheet Notes: This is a VERY straight forward project. All elements are defined. The right developer will see this and realize that it can be finished very quickly. There will be ongoing work to expand the functionality of the site in the future. Such as account login for Business to post coupons, paypal payment to post coupon, email coupon, txt coupon to phone, etc. If you do a good job and are professional you will be selected to continue development.
