theHumanPoll Our company is an independent news media and public opinion polling organization that seeks to create an online medium that will accurately measure public opinion on prevalent social issues by making the voting, registration, and market research components easily and conveniently accessible for users. Our company is in need of a well experienced and professional programmer that can assist in creating an API/RSS Feed Application for Facebook and iGoogle Users to have the ability to connect to theHumanPoll, view original content via feeds, vote in current polls, and access other information. The specifics of this project include the need for an anchor website that will allow users to sign up, set up accessibility to their iGoogle and Facebook accounts, and then of course the actual applications themselves, the specifics of which can be discussed. Additionally, when a user signs up, the user must input general information that will accurately reflect the statistics that the polling experience will aim to obtain (i.e. birth year, gender, ethnicity, and zip code) and save that information as a profile that will allow the user to vote on various polls throughout the site and have that information saved under that user profile. This project will tentatively be launched in January 2008, however the creation of the site and applications (Facebook being the priority) are extremely time sensitive with respect to the promotion of the site.
