Google Cloud Platform Migration

We have a developed a web portal prototype that we need to move from the engineer platform over to the Google Cloud Service for launch readiness. This is a video website that was build on top of a Video CMS template similar to OStube/VIMP. We are looking for a highly talented, detail oriented individual who have "previous" experience with Google App Engine/Google Platform migration to assist with this project. If you do not have any Google App Engine experience, you will probably not do well on this project. I anticipate that you will spend about roughly about 100 hours on this project from beginning to end with the first week being the heaviest as you will need to get up to speed and execute on the migration strategy. If all goes well, I anticipate that you will spend about 40 hours the first week, followed by 25 hours the second week, 15 hours second week and another 20 hours to close everything up. Here is a high level of the tasks that you will likely be engaged in: 1. Scope out the current and target environment 2. Begin the migration from engineering platform over to Google platform 3. Work with engineer to debug web portal communication and bug fix database and PHP scripts 4. Add any new features into the database or modify current PHP scripts I anticipate that there will be a second part of this project, so the successful candidate will have the opportunity to take the first bid on the second half of this project. We are looking for a sharp shooter that will be able to come in and hit the ground running. Here is a list of skill sets that will help carry you to success on this project. Mandatory skills Python & Django Experiance with Google App Engine HTML5 and CSS3 expertise Ability to develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices including smartphones and tablets Strong knowledge & extensive experience with OO JavaScript Profound insights of how the web works and how to make it efficient (HTTP requests, caching, page rendering, DOM manipulation, etc.) SVN Ability to learn new technologies quickly Bonus skills PHP & symphony VIMP Designer skills
