JavaScript Drop-down/Filtered Autocomplete Object

I need an object for use in my website that is a drop-down list that will let me select categories & sub-categories, or start typing to filter what is available. To best describe this functionality, I would like to refer to mint.com. Please watch this short screencast to get an idea of what I need: [login to view URL] I would like this to either be a standalone javascript control or something that is build on the jquery library. My site is in Django/Python, so don't worry about that, I will just need to know what output I will need to create to work with the autocomplete.
