Required: Product developer for new celebrity endorsed homeware range. Working between a Shanghai based supply chain specialist for homeware and their Californian office responsible for range design/ planning. Group ability comprises of sourcing, finance, logistics and retail distribution. Ability to create mood boards of collections and ranges encompassing the celebrity inspired lifestyle. Generate design colour pallets using latest trends. Initially this role will be focused on textiles and soft lines with a view to expanding into hard goods, non-furniture across home décor, gallery and tableware. Understanding of packaging and graphics to develop a brand identity. Previous experience in brand launches and the understanding of celebrity endorsed product ranges is essential. Extensive knowledge of homeware business. Technical appreciation of product development . Currently this position is offered as a freelance role, but could be extended to full or part time employment. Able to travel on occasions. (UK, US, China, Bangladesh)
