PDF Layout design and content conversion from powerpoint - university textbook

General Background This project is for a company developing university textbook style materials for professional accountants in the USA. We have developed the content for a new course in powerpoint. We currently have around 90 slides of text content, infobox content, diagrams and case studies. The core of this project is to convert the Powerpoint slides into professional, well designed, well laid out and organized PDF. This will be the final version of our course materials we will be selling to students. End Product of Project The end product of this project will be one PDF file with the following: 1. Table of contents 2. Fully searchable text throughout the document 3. Glossary 4. 60-90 pages, 15000+ words Project Requirements This is a collaborative project. The consultant awarded this project will be collaborating actively with Chris who is working full-time on the project in a cross functional role. There will be a lot of samples back and forth as we design the core layout and then once the content is in place we will have several revisions. 1. Collaborate with Chris via voice calls with samples and content updates 2. Create core design for textbook style course materials including verbose text content, diagrams, infoboxes, quotes etc. – we want the materials to be easy to read and eye catching 3. Once the general layout is decided version the content into the design in a way that we can easily reorganize the order and table of contents Attachments 1 - Example Written Content to Convert – This is a sample of the content we have written that will be the basis of what we convert into a designed PDF 2 - Competitor Course Material Sample – Sample of a competitor course to get a general idea of the end product we are creating. We want our course to be much more designed. 3 - Competitor Course Material Sample – Another competitor course sample 4 - Desired Layout Sample – Example of a designed document with infographics, this is the type of end product we want for our longer course Questions 1.
