Hi, I´m an animator/illustrator with experience in video games and shorts. I always design my own characters and I also worked as character designer for games. I never worked that kind of 8 bit pixel-art (and I´d love to), but I did 32-bit work that I can show you if you´d like. Now, there are 2 "problems": - I wouldn´t be able to start working nuilt the 5th of January - The budget seemed a bit low if you´d like that amount of details, shadows, lights... etc I trust my skills and I could try to do one for you at a lower price as a test. But then, if we mesh, as you said, we would need to go higher. Maybe not so much, if I see that the work doesn´t take that long, but most likely around what I bidded for.
