I studied Japanese for three and a half years at the University of California, Berkeley, under veteran teachers who are native Japanese people. I know complex syntax and some sophisticated vocabulary and am careful about my kanji, and know the differences between keigo and the other valences of politeness-- and my aptitude for maintaining flow in English means I will provide some killer translation that's true to the substance and emotional tone of the original material.
