Fix error calculating image dimensions in Kodi (C++)

Kodi ([login to view URL]) is free software written in C++. Source code is on GitHub. There is a longstanding bug in the Pictures module which results in mis-calculation of image dimensions under certain conditions. I have narrowed the location of the bug to about 200 lines of code and described precise conditions which trigger the bug within a typical set of test images. I attach two jpgs which differ in width by a single pixel: one triggers the bug, the other does not. The bug report page at [login to view URL] gives the details. I use the Pictures module of Kodi commercially, and I have programming skills, but I lack the time to set up a C++ IDE that will let me step through the code and time to understand the variables and constants used in the calculation, to come up with the fix. I would like to pay a freelancer to fix the bug. Specifically, task completion involves (A) appropriate patches submitted to the Kodi GitHub; (B) providing me with a fixed Linux binary that I can start using immediately without waiting for a new official version from Kodi; and (C) providing me with a GitHub snapshot of the Kodi source tree used to compile that binary. Details of my Linux system to be provided (a Mint/Ubuntu/Debian src package would be ideal). For a programmer skilled at routine debugging of a large C++ program and working with GitHub, this task should be both easy and quick, less than 2 hours for everything. I am offering $100.
