Hi What I understand that you want to create a yearly calendar that shows all the dates in one single window and then want to mark some dates or highlight them (from the picture you attached I can guess that you want to select from three values which are shift 1,2 and 3 and maybe every shift will be highlighted in different colors) and will be able to select multiple dates by holding ctrl key or drag on an area so any date on this area will be selected and then you can change them by right-clicking.
