Application to download updates for Windows Application

An application that will check an FTP server for application updates and if they exist download the new .exe. ## Deliverables This application needs to be coded in Borland C++ Builder (version 5) as an application or as a Delphi component that may be used with C++ Builder. If done in Delphi we will need a same program that uses the component. It is acceptable to use any exist FTP component available in C++ Builder or Delphi so that portion does not need to be done from scratch. The server will always be a Linux vsftpd FTP server. The updater will need the ability to check an FTP server for an update file. The update file will contain the names of .exe files and their versions. If any of the local EXE files are older or a flag to force an update is set the program should download the .exe files and copy them over the existing programs. The existing exe's should be copied to an extension of .001, .002, etc prior to replacing them. A log file should be appended to showing the date of each update. An .ini file in the same directory as the applications will contain both the update servers IP or hostname and the name of the update control file to check the server for. Both the update application and the applications being updated will reside in the same folder.
