We are looking for minor modifications to our wordpress site, which uses a premium wordpress theme. The theme CSS will need to be modified using a child theme (so that changes don't get over written every time the theme is updated. The changes we are seeking include: - Collapse header and make sticky on on scroll - Modified widgetized area in header to occupy less vertical space (so can be used for search box) Requirements are: - Use child theme for all modifications - Maintain responsiveness of header Mockup documents and further explanation will be provided. We would like to find a developer to work with on future changes and projects as well. You will be asked to answer the following questions when submitting a proposal: Are you familiar with child themes? Please explain there purpose and how they are used? Please provide an estimate of hours / cost for this project?

Child theme are used to modify of customize parent theme functionality or layout and when we update the parent theme it doesnot update any changes done in child theme.
