I am interested in fixing the issues. I think the isse is that the images are added in posts and pages and are added using absolute urls, so the best way will be to edit the database and then reimport it. you have phpmyadmin?

images are showing up but taking to much time, i think it is not images issue but site speed issue, or are there any particular images which you are referring? Home page images took long but loaded
