build a basic website as a landing page for our company

We want to build a basic website that has a landing page where a video opener will play and has two other pages - ABOUT and CONTACT US. We will add to the site in future but this first project is to get something in place quickly. We have already chosen wordpress theme and the video opener is being created by someone else. We want the site to be configured properly for desktop and mobile. We need someone who has a good design eye, good tech skills and decent written English. We want this developer to 'own' the design and suggest their own ideas too. We are easy to work with and don't change our minds a lot. Thanks
