I'm a native English speaker (USA) with a BA in English and a minor in Korean studies from the State University of New York at Albany. I have attended two language schools in South Korea totaling almost a year and a half of direct immersion. I currently attend the number one university in the country, Seoul National University, as a student in their Korean language institute where I conduct research in the advanced academic class. I am conversationally and academically fluent in Korean. I have participated in speech contests, written reports and conducted research in Korean. I worked as an editor and assistant translator for my professor at university while he was writing two books on Korean grammar.
