Hi, I have done scraping work in the past using python/Django as backend and using both BeautifulSoup and Scrapy - esp for some ecommerce sites. I used to scrape Amazon as well and fetch its products details - name, price, image and description using the APIs. There are many many scraping platforms and most of them are geared to avoid having to setup your own scraping infrastructure and only specify what needs to be scraped via their tools provided in web based platform. In the end once they scrape data, you need to store it somewhere say in a relational DB or non relationalDB and do whatever you wish to do. Since you are a JS developer and your requirement is quite simple to learn to do POST request to a website and learn how to do it,I suppose it should not take you more than a working day. I am full stack expert and have over 15 years of experience with deep understanding of Laravel, Python/Django ecosystem as well as frontend frameworks like ReactJS, VueJS and Angular.
