I need an utility (exe) to scramble and unscramble VBScript code. The application screen should have 2 vertical text boxes where I can Copy + Paste on the left hand side the original code and Convert the code to the right hand side text box. The converted code should still be able to execute, but not easily human readable. The VBScript code is used into an application that can run vbscript. It is NOT an VBA file or used on Web pages. Project Requirements: - exe file to be executed in windows - scramble and unscramble function from original to "hard to read" and back Before the project is completed, we need to test the scrambled script to make sure it can run in the 3rd party application. A good test would be with Excel VBA code: If the scrambled code works inside Excel, then it should be OK with the 3rd party application. I have added 2 files with an example of before and after code.

I am experienced with C# and other .net technologies, including Windows Forms and WPF. After reading your proposal i have begun a technical specification on how i would complete your project. Firstly the scrambled code will need to comply with VBScript specifications. In order to ensure this the project will need to be tested with sample VBScript files. Secondly the scrambled code needs to be able to be converted back to readable code. This means that the algorithm to scramble this code will have to be deterministic, yet still achieve the goal of obfuscation.
