I need you to develop some software for me. I would like this software to be developed for Linux . I want a small script to aitomatic mount a usb drive to a xen vm guest. The usb harddisk is attached to the xen host. But on reboot it is not mounted anymore. Or when a user disconnect and reconnect it is not mounted automatic. Who can assist?

What is your Linux Distro ? I will write a service to auto mount the device from getting the info from dmesg, then mount /sda/ ? etc let me know

How is the drive manually mounted, secondly what hypervisor and Linux OS you are using, When the drive is mounted does it hardware address change on each reboot, if yes they may require a more complicated method to keep the drive mounted.
