Research document to understand South African (RSA) residential electricity consumption, electricity costs and the electricity tariffs of the municipality where the homeowner is located. This needs to be cross referenced by the homeowner's status, i.e. whether leased, owned outright or mortgage outstanding. A matrix as a summary is required including the above with a provincial split. The focus is for medium to high income households in freestanding properties and semi-detached buildings - not apartments or farms. Required data in the matrix include: 1. Number of individual households and electricity spend split into: R10 000 to R20 000 per annum; R20 000 to R35 000; R35 000 to R50 000 per annum; R50 000 and more. - the above split by average kWh consumption annually. 2. Geographical location by Provinces 3. Electricity supply - which municipality or Eskom 4. Status of homeowner - outright owned or paying mortgage. No rental property to be included. 5. Freestanding building or semi-detached. No apartments or common roof properties.
