Mainly looking at how firms recruit students (clerkships and graduate jobs) and general company information. Work involves going to law firm website in Hong Kong/China and sourcing information that is required to be filled on given excel document. Accuracy is needed and data should be in a consistent format. Excel is very self explanatory. (Firm ranking, how students apply)Firm Address/es, Firm Locations, Specialisations, Employees Globally, Service disciplines, howprofit etc) A focus on finding vacation and graduate employment information and the general careers link to those pages. Contact details of the person who is organising the summer vacation schemes etc including email/phone/name. There are two tabs to the spreadsheet. Initiative based research to find law firms and their vacation work/trading companies that exist in Hong Kong and China. This may include going on Google or going to company annual report 2010.
