I have a list A of 3 columns: Business_id, latitude and longitude and a list B with a business_id, latitude and longitude. I need to build a third list C with the Business_id (from list A) and the geospatial distance of that business to the nearest point in B. The deliverable for this project are: 1) List C (I will provide lists A and B) 2) The code you used to generate it. This code should work on any lists like A,B and C. Furthermore, it should only use libraries that run on mac and it should be easy to use, clearly written, with proper comments and step by step explanations (I need to be able to understand how it works so I can replicate it). If the project goes well, there is room for two more of the same nature (doing spatial calculations in R).
