I am looking for a business coach who can help me plan a small investment business. Specifically, I need someone familiar with securities law. Someone who can guide me through business planning from the ground up. The basic idea is to create a business in order to manage an investment portfolio. Then perhaps another entity to attract investment money. This sounds like a hedge fund to me, but I am not familiar with the legal structure. Some areas to address are: Legal Entity Form(s) Continuations of Articles of Incorporation State Business Licenses - Which state to incorporate in. Bylaws/Operating agreement 3rd Party Vendors (Financial) Human Resources Planning Accounting Planning Bookkeeping Planning I am not simply looking for a business plan.I am not looking for investment advise.I have researched and written out the above documents and more. What I would like is someone familiar with hedge funds/mutual funds/private equity/investment firms to show me how to set up my business. Previous experience is a must. Applicant must be knowledgeable about US securities and business law.
