Initial situation Working time recording and evaluation A web-based application for recording working time and assigning it to different projects and evaluating it Environment and aim of the work We currently use a solution offered by our accounting department, which is not clear for us. To simplify the billing process for customers, a web-based application is being developed to record working time and assign it to various projects and evaluate it. Detailed task definition The employee area of the website is used to record your own working time and activity. Every employee must log in with a user name and password. After login, the respective employee has several selection fields at his disposal: A selection field with date A selection field for the start of work A selection field for the end of work A selection field for the current activity (activities: resource planning, accounting, reservation entry, customer management, vehicle management, meeting,) A selection where the project can be specified ((Project 1, Project 2, Project 3, Project 4, Project 5) An administrator area must be implemented. The administrator logs in via the same interface as the employees. The administrator area has the possibility to trigger the hours and evaluations of all employees and one report per project. In addition, new projects can be entered and existing ones closed in the administrator area. Evaluations of the working hours must be made: Working time of the individual employees Activities Hours per activity Failed logins are indicated to the employee by marking the field with the error and displaying a meaningful error message. For the documentation of the new application, a use case of the realized application should be created.
