We are looking for a skilled developer that can create a software for one of our clients. The client is a nutritionist with their own program. Currently she does all her plans in Microsoft Word using a template she made and just fills in the appropriate lines, custom items and meals. That takes too much of her time (about 2 hours per plan). We want her to have her own software / website just for her where she can just enter all the information with fields and checkboxes and then have a finished nutritionplan in PDF Format as the final result. She has her own Plan-Design which she wants to stick with. One example of the usage is: The client has a sea food intolerance -> she checks the appropriate box on the mask -> No recipe with Sea Food is used on the plan. The client loves Chicken -> she checks the appropriate box -> Chicken recipes in the plan. We will provide you with all the form fields, plan design and text needed. The final Software should be in German - We will provide the text.

Hello, I'm a full-time freelance web developer proficient in PHP, MySQL and PDF. What I will provide is a web-based system where your client will just input texts, check checkboxes, select from dropdowns, etc and a PDF of the meal plan corresponding to the filters she used. This is pretty similar to 2 projects I had last month, one was one client having a 5-page web form and a PDF is generated after the form has been filled. Hello. I understand the challenge and the need to be efficient with producing such documents. Given that the current tool being used is MS Word, I would recommend implementing this in a VBA project that would utilize MS Office, present some dialogs, perhaps Excel to store the standard content pieces. The benefit of that is that it would be easier to maintain both the content and the solution going forward. I assume the business logic is straightforward and binary - if "Yes" include the text. Sounds like she should have a database representing her clientele with fields for allergies, likes, and dislikes, and her recipes which will be searchable for the same. Would she prefer an Android app? With me you are never far from an Android native app. I have a script which produces a skeleton app with as many fragments, listviews, databases as you want, in seconds. I am not the worst guy for this job because I show no freelancer experience! Give me a try!
