I am looking for someone to build me a scrapper that will scrape local authority portals or planning information in the UK & download PDFs and parsing them for specific text.. I.e: [login to view URL] But to also work on other local authority websites as well. Hello there I have seen your project post and the sites you have mentioned you need to scrape and extract some information into Excel. I have had prior experience with web-scrapping using Python and Excel. Since you will also need it to run on a MAC, I will use Python. The links you have provided require for one to search the sites. I would like to see the results of the search and understand how it works. This will also determine the technologies to use for scrapping the site.
