We are looking for a Web Developer/Team who will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of custom software applications for a web based penny auction software system. Here's what you need to know: We need you to learn and be able modify the code for this existing penny auction software (www dot pennyauctionsoft dot com). We have many modifications and bugfixes that need to be done right away for our many clients. If you already have experience with this software (which is based off of telebid/swoopo), please let me know as there is not alof of existing documentation for you to review. We would need you to sign an NDA (non disclosure agreement) before starting any work. I have installed a test version of the software at (www toppennyauction dot com) for testing/debugging purposes. Please tell me your rate as well as the best times to reach you. Your responsibilities: - Review business requirements working with other team members - Perform a technical analysis of requirements - Produce a solid, detailed technical design - Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision - Work with the Customer Support to fix bugs with rapid turnaround - Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use Your qualifications: - Programming languages: PHP, HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript - Dbase: MySQL with Ioncube - 3-5 years of programming experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience - A work style that is extremely detail oriented - The drive, flexibility and passion to work independently and thrive in a remote-work environment - Strong communication skills - A complete scriptlance profile - References or an established reputation on scriptlance preferred
