This web page retrieves the historical data of stocks, such as AIG, and uses these variables: 1. start date; 2. start balance; 3. % rise to sell; 4. % loss to double; So, if I enter? 01/01/1990 10000 2.5 20 it will do the following: Find the data from Jan. 1, 1990, use the balance ($10,000) to buy AIG at closing price. Set sell price at purchase price + 2.5%. Check the data on the day that follows. If the opening price is greater than selling price, sell at opening price. If not, if the day high is greater than the selling price, sell at sell price. Take $20 off the proceeds and use the balance to buy at closing. If the share price falls to 20% below purchase price, make another purchase using the same amount of money as the last purchase. Add that price to capital investment. Change the selling price to (the cost of the purchase + $10 + 2.5% profit) / total shares. The next time it sells, deduct the capital investment from the balance. Repeat this process until today. I wrote one, but it's only good for one stock. If you are interested, you will write it to apply to the whole list (DJI, SP100, SP500, SP1500, or custom list). This is actually a fairly simple project, you just do it to a lot more stocks all at once. Attached is an example of AIG according to its historical data. These outputs are not shown on the table, of course. They are for your reference. But, the balance should be shown. The table should show the result of each stock as to how it would have performed under this trading strategy. Feel free to ask questions if you have any. ## Deliverables 1) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
