18743 Monster / Myspace Clone

The following project is for a patent pending Monster / MySpace Clone website. I am seeking a decent sized development team to take on this project. Ideally, I would be looking to have a custom script, or a heavily modified script of an existing system that is intuitive to use. The site is currently 40% finished, but needs to get done ASAP. We are currently using FreeBSD, PHP, MySQL, CSS, JavaScript, XHTML. If you have any other ideas or a different design on how is should look, ideas are always open, would also like to change logo if possible if not, that's okay. This project is a community based site exactly to the styles of Monster, MySpace, and CareerBuilder in that it is a Job site/ Friend Network community/Blog System. It will have the following features: - User will be able to post resumes on the site with a small section of putting a 15 sec recorded video feed of them explaining who they are which businesses will see when looking at the users resume. Of course, we need to put a disclaimer for users if they choose they want this feature. -The site is currently already setup but needs the social networking section and the job site section to finish. - User Profile: Name, Status, Age, Interests, Description, Customisable Tag Line (or Welcome Note) - Blog System: Users can choose to use a Blog.. The blog will appear on the User Profile page and is on by default. Users can turn it off by going into their settings. Comments by other users are capable for every post. - Picture System: Registered Users are able to post up to 10 photographs, with options for captions and the ability to choose the main display picture. - Find Friends/Search System: A gallery of users that are displayed in results that are based on Distance, City, Age, Status, Ethnicity, Pictures Only, Interest, and more. By default, opposite gender is displayed within a set mile radius. - Dating Section: A unique section to the site that is a searchable section of users whom have chosen the "Single" Status. - Messaging System: Users are able to send other users messages. - Shoutout Box: Users are able to write messages/testimonial's to other members. Messages must be approved by receiving member to be displayed in User Profile. This feature must have the feature to be enabled or disabled in settings. This will be like a messenger built in the website for users can chat with businesses or other users within their network. The main features I would like it to have are: the ability to add friends, create a profile, search users, post images, post resumes, and send messages to other users, post public messages, let users post their own blog, and a discussion board. The database should be unique, attracting, you might provide me existing database but I strongly prefer database that people cant find elsewhere except on my site. Site design should be suitable for the theme, active, young, and community. Winning bidder not only wins this project but also monthly job on updating new objects to existing database of Myspace, monster, careerbuilder, (if performance is good). Global Behaviors: All links to outside websites will open up a new window, keeping our website open in the original browser window. If a user places a link within their profile, the site recognizes it as a link and creates the link automatically Look and Feel: The look and feel of the site is already made unless the winning bidder has other ideas concerning this site. Website Capabilities: • Search – similar to MySpace • Search for: Tiers or Individuals (text input) • Friends (same as MySpace) • Classmates (same as MySpace) • Invite – same as MySpace • Join – same as MySpace, allow users to import or link from MySpace so that it pulls from MySpace servers and displays on our page • Mail – same as MySpace • Blog – same as MySpace • Forum – same as MySpace • Groups – same as MySpace • Events – same as MySpace • Pictures – allows people to browse pictures located in each tier, or search pictures by keyword • Browse – similar to MySpace • People – basic and advanced browsing can remain the same as MySpace. • Posting Resume – users should be able to post like monster and careerbuilder but also have the option to put in a 15sec video interview of themselves. Backend Capabilities: Email list management • Tracks opt-in / opt-out settings for each user • Enables Team level, Division level, and League level emails • Can perform opt-in email blasts based on a combination of Tier, Location, and other factors, such as age and sex. Content management • A log tracks latest profile additions & changes and picture additions & changes to make for quick browsing for the addition of obscene content. • Pictures are limited in size. They are automatically resized, or they are kicked back to the user until size requirements are met (100k or less or other, generally accepted picture size). • Website watermark is placed on all pictures Payment management • Accept payment via credit card or PayPal • Enable future payment for events (where we charge for fees collected): the rest is forwarded to the league. • Allows tracking event enrollment process and can be sorted by Tier activity. • Creates tier lists with any defined fields, such as name, address, phone number, etc. – each list can be customized. Lists can be exported to a comma-delimited file. Winning bidder will have access to the beta site, to see what has been done already, Also, I would like to have a conference call with the winning bidder every Monday at 7pm Central Time just to pass around ideas.
