ntroduction:
We run a massive online game with about half a million registered members and is seeking expert Flash Developer to upgrade our site.
1) A robust flash platform game engine including a main character, an AI-driven enemy (both of which can shoot weapons), and objects with variable properties such as movement, being able to blow up objects, collision detection, etc. Examples of this type of game would be HeliAttack2 ([login to view URL]), Codename:Gordon ([login to view URL]), Alias3 ([login to view URL]).
Graphics are not of major concern because great graphics jack up the price of the bid which I don't want to do. However, workable graphics are needed obviously, but I'm paying for a well-coded engine, not the graphics. NOTE: you don't have to make levels or even a storyline, I simply want a good gaming engine coded in Flash, provide me with a sample demo level showing off all the features to the engine and that will suffice.
2) I am then needing a user-based editor written in Flash with a PHP/MYSQL backend which would allow users to register and drag/drop objects on a stage to build their own version of a platform gaming using the engine above, save their game, and load their game. PM me for details or if you have questions.
This is basically the jist of it, if you haven't guess yet I am in the process of developing an online game building service.
THIS PROJECT GUARANTEES FURTHER WORK. Obviously this is NOT a one-shot deal, I will need upgrades in the future, as well as additions to the service as it gains popularity and the winner of this bid will be contacted and offered this work, therefore it is a long-term business relationship here and should keep you busy.
GOLD members of GAF will be given priority, lowest quality bidder will win, bid competitively, and if you have 0 feedback you will need to bid lower than the rest to be considered. A portfolio example of THIS TYPE OF GAMING WORK is an optional asset. Don't PM me webdesign work or un-related cookie cutter lists of crap that you've done if it doesnt relate to this project.
