DATABASE EXPERT - BIG DATA We are currently running our OPENX ad server data-base using MySQL to manage ads, data, reporting, analytic, etc. The volume of traffic that we currently have requires that we switch to a Big Data solution and are looking to replace MySQL with CLICKHOUSE based on recommendations. However we are open to discuss other options such as integration with Apache CASSANDRA or Apache IGNITE We are looking for the following person (s) Someone who can work remotely and has flexible hours. This person will have to: 1) Review current data base (MySQL) and overall settings, queries, script, etc. 2) Propose a plan for setting up Clickhouse on a dedicated server to do the same or better 3) Identifying migration options and data transfer protocol with no or min. interruption and no loss of data 4) Oversee the migration of historical and current data from MySQL to Clickhouse 5) Provide on-going maintenance, update and optimization of Data base and make recommendation to improve system

Hi Team Myself is having total 15 years+ experience in different flavours of database like Oracle , PostgreSQL, Mysql, Mariadb , Couchbase db, Cassandra, Mongo DB etc. For this assignment I can provide a plan . Note: 1. If you want to migrate data from a RDBMS database to NoSQL db, you have to setup hardware which is linear expandable . So the database will not exist in a single machine . If you are having only one superdom type high end hardware, best option is to go with virtualisation like vmware of container based approach like Kubernetes. 2. I dont know the size of the existing DB. If you are planning to migrate to Cassandra , sstableloader is the best tool to load data from a flat file . But there are several tools are there , using which you can migrate the data. But plan is required , how to migrate the stored proc. So please ping me and have a discussion for the same .
