Hello, I can give you helping hand, as I've years of experiences with identification (barcodes, RFID from production to logistics) using Delphi (or C#). To be able to continue with your project, I would like to ask you some more detailed information: 1. what version of Delphi do you prefer? 2. is there any process analysis or at least wireframe(s) of the application you would like to develop? Actually there is not enough information about what type of barcode (1D EAN13, GS1/128, 2D...) you want to use, what should be displayed to users (which roles?) on which device (WIndows desktop PC?) and what to do with data decoded from barcodes? 3. type of hardware - keyboard scanner or serial scanner or ethernet scanner or...? I can also give you a help with analysis of the workflow (GS1 standads), app. design or hardware (scanners, hand devices, printers).
