Swift bluetooth system which allows messages to be sent and received in various view controllers.

Currently I have a structure where there is a view controller where various bluetooth devices are searched for and the selected device is connected to, there is modal present of a new view controller which handles all the messages sent and received. Where I need help is that I would like to keep the structure where in the first page I select and connect to the view controller, but then I have 5 view controllers from which I would like to be able to receive and send bluetooth messages to the device which was connected to on the first view controller. The communication line is as follows: [login to view URL](valueString!, for: txCharacteristic, type: [login to view URL]) I am working on serial bluetooth communication. Please contact me if you could provide some help. I don't require a full project to be done only an example of the architecture which I can develop on. I would like a architecture which uses the peripheral I have connected to and allows me to receive messages in 5 view controllers. I would prefer not to edit the code to much for the connection sequence.
