MHo #1: Logo of twelve hands

**Easy logo for RAC Newbie Graphic Artists!** The logo shows six forearms, each with two hands, i.e., one placed normally, and a second hand extending from each forearm's "elbow". Each forearm has one left and one right hand. Each forearm is gripping the next at one end, forming a tight ring or hexagon. (This inner ring should be closer/tighter than what I show below; there should be *less* "hole".) The other end of each forearm reaches out to the edge of the logo. (This outer ring should stretch out a bit *more* than I show below.) All six hands in this inner ring are palm-*down*, on *top* of the next forearm, and they alternate right and left. When a right hand is gripping, more of the thumb shows, and less of the pinky shows. When a left hand is gripping, more of the pinky shows, and less of the thumb shows. (I wrote "T" next to each thumb below.) Try this with your own hands, and you will see what I mean. The outer hands, all palm-*up*, also alternate right and left. This means that the thumbs will be on the opposite side of the forearm from the corresponding inner hand. (A palm-down right hand has a thumb at the bottom, and a palm-up left hand has a thumb at the top.) The fingers of the outer hands are very slightly curled and *separated* slightly, signifying an extension of "help", rather than "collecting (money)". The lines should be black and as thick as possible, without compromising the concept. Each forearm has a single color inside the lines, (for the color version), starting with red at the top, and then, going clockwise, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. I'm not much of an artist, but I tried to show my intent here: ![][1] ## Deliverables (At least) two versions need to be delivered: Color and black-and-white. The file format should ideally allow *any* future resizing, i.e., vector format. I may need your help in converting vector art to GIF's. Please use *software* to duplicate, reflect and rotate the image components, so that there is *exact* symmetry and consistency, especially when the logo is expanded. Your sample art in your bid **MUST** be your own work! **If there is a substantial difference in artistic style/ability between the bid and the submitted work, your account will be reported to RAC to be closed for fraud.** I apologize to the honest artists out there, but frankly, I've gotten tired of people who submit bids that don't reflect their own work. **All work _must_ be original!** In addition, I own all rights to the final result, not you. (You may show this work in your portfolio as an example of your work, but you may not resell or give it to anyone else.) * * *1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Worker in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the worker's Worker Legal Agreement). ## Platform We'll discuss file formats; popular is best.
