I'm an IT consulting and Internet entrepreneur that's been in the business for over 20 years. I also run a technology based non-profit. I'm looking for a part-time Virtual Assistant to work 10-30 hours per week for a total of 80 hours a month. This position could later transition into a full time position for the right candidate. You will have the option of choosing your own hours, but you must be flexible and on-call for time-sensitive work and must have a quick response time.
This role would involve the following:
1) Planning and day-to-day management of both personal and business projects.
2) Obtain contractor quotes, and coordinate on-site resources, as needed.
3) Implementation of various technical (mostly hobby-based IT) projects.
4) Online public relation, marketing, and event planning activities, including leveraging of forums and popular social networking tools.
5) Detail level technology, management, and information security research for blogging and academic quality articles.
6) Writing of relevant articles for blogs, articles, and papers.
7) Basic accounting and bookkeeping.
Ideal candidates would have the following:
1) Excellent written English skills equal to native English speaker.
2) Professional, hard working, self directed, and self motivated.
3) Strong knowledge of website development, Internet marketing, public relations, etc.
Additional Information:
1) At the end of each week, you must provide an itemized list of tasks that was been completed, with the total time spent on each task.
2) You must have your own PC with a reliable high speed Internet connection; may also need a headset and web-cam.
3) You may need to log into a remote workstation for some work.
