Ionic App Powered by Phpfox needs modification

I have an hybrid Ionic 1 framework app (iPhone, iPad & Android) that is backend by Phpfox as the CMS. In the app we have an activity feed that displays content by "recently added", by default. We are looking for someone who can make the default view to display by "most popular."
So if we have three status updates on the acitivity feed, and someone comments on the first one -- we need that one to be moved to the top.
This should be an easy task for someone familiar with phpfox and ionic framework and should only take a couple of hours to complete.
