I am creating a brand where we will be profiling modern desi's from all over the world. They don't necessarily have to be famous, but people who are creating a brand for themselves in whatever field eg business, arts, politics, science etc ( Anyone interesting)
As "desi" is a loose term, countries that are considered "desi" are subjective; however, it is often accepted that India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka are Desi countries.
Pease provide in excel format, with name, short description & social media handle ( if they don't have a social media profile, that's fine as well)
The aim for brand is to profile desi's doing interesting things all over the world
A few tips would be to find the meme pages focused towards desi's and find who follows them.
