I don't have any fashion design background so mostly I would provide only a general idea of a few pieces and I'm looking for someone more experienced to help in the specifics of designing, material selection, and ultimately sewing the piece together for final wear." Dear Brittany, For some reason I cannot place a bid, therefore I am writing to you personally. I am a skilled Designer/Patternmaker/Dressmaker. I can make your pattern made to measure enhancing the positive points of your body shape. I can also make the garment for you but my specialty is in the knowledge and creativity of designs that will suit and enhance your unique body shape, mainly the fitted, elegant look of the 50's (not found today), and assisting you with your personal garment designs. I am in Australia so I would not sew the garments for you as these would require 'fittings', but I could assist you with the designing and/or patternmaking, which is the most important aspect of making a garment. Once you have the pattern (made to measure), you can easily get any average dressmaker to cut the pieces and put them together, also you will always have your basic pattern (which you will also receive) that may be used to make any other design/s. I also have some sample designs (drawings) I could show you. Depending on the (complexity of) design of the garment, my price is $190 - $250 per design and patternmaking.
