Though I see you are seeking someone to write a guide regarding stock momentum indicators, I thought I should make a bid just in case my particular expertise might be of value to your project. I have extensive experience using Excel and VBA to analyze the application of various technical indicators to stock price movements. See my portfolio for an example of my analysis of Bollinger Bands as applied to high volume NYSE and NASDAQ-listed stocks for the current year. The routine presented is a demonstration program for my own uses (i.e. not yet a functional trading program) but it is quite interesting to see how it is possible to solve for those specific variable values (I solved for upper and lower multiples of standard deviation) which produce the maximum financial return, in terms of both percentage rate and dollar value, for the subject period (in this case, 1/2/2018 to 8/3/2018).
