that's an easy task for me i can write you the eqaution and even write the code for you, i have already done similar conversions in my own projects.

Ready to do it now, just pull the trigger. The formula to convert is DD = d + (min/60) + (sec/3600), I can get the relevant data from your DMS string to use in the formula above and make it work in excel. This isn't the typical work I do now a days, but I have experience working with data from a programming and Computer Science perspective from the days of yore. I would like to get my first job done on here so I don't show up as not having any experience. Willing to do this job for the lowest amount the system will allow me.
