42597 Need help w/ Excel Spreadsheet

Ok, I have three different category headings at the top of my spreadsheets. Each one has tons of different categories all mixed up, in no descernable order. I need a way to get something in my spreadsheet - like Blah|Blah2|Blah3 to be separated into v_categories_name_1 and v_categories_name_2 and v_categories_name_3. Right now, they're all listed under v_categories_name_1. I need a way to quickly transfer all the Blah2 and Blah3 into the other two categories along with different categories like whatever2|whatever3 to be moved over a column and then the last one behind the | moved to another column. I'm at a complete loss on how to do this. I don't want you to do this for me, I just want the information on HOW to do this. So if you know MS Excel and all ready know how to do this effectively, please bid. Thanks =)

Easy enough...select the cell or column you wish to split. Click the "Data" menu, then select "Text to Columns". Select "Delimited", then "Next". Make sure only "Other" is checked, enter the character (such as the vertical bar) to split on, and click "Finish". No need to pre-hire...just pay me if this works for you.
